Dansummit bridges the gap between Chinese and American cultures through web-based communication, granting Chinese students and their parents every resource they need to make informed decisions about their education.
Through our program, qualified student tutors at the upper high school and college level in the United States are chosen through an interview process and connected with elementary-aged students in China. The two digitally communicate on a weekly basis with the end goal of exposing younger Chinese students to American society and language. All student tutors receive free training on effective teaching and communication methods, as well as training on how to overcome language barriers.
With the development of our mobile app and its unique concept of connecting American and Chinese students, our technology provides a platform that focuses on cross-cultural exchange and fosters a learning environment that transcends international borders.
Our project is funded largely through investments from the Technology Park Qingshanhu Science and Technology Town, which is based in the west side Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is a major part of the Zhejiang province, equivalent of the Silicon Valley.
